Scan2PDF X Security

Scan2PDF X is an ActiveX which runs in Internet Explorer. The first time you load a page which contains the ActiveX it will take a couple of seconds and you will then see a page like this:

This proves that the ActiveX which you are about to install is a genuine Burrotech Ltd product and has not been tampered with. If you click on the link marked "Burrotech Ltd" you will see details of our code-signing certificate:


Installing software that has been digitally signed is very safe; We would not have been able to obtain a certificate from Thawte if we were not a legitimate software company. Thus the signature ensures two things:
1. That you are installing a product from a respectable software company
2. That the software has not been altered or substituted.
