Office Mail Addins - Speech

The Speech Addin is pretty pointless, but demonstrates what can be done with Addins. It will speak a predefined text or even the email text. It can be used with the <user> param to say "new mail for <user>" when new email arrives, but you'd be better using the wave file addin.

It requires both the TRSpeaker ActiveX and the Microsoft Speech API system installed, both of which are free and can be downloaded from www.text-reader.com

Params:
nothing: Will speak the email text
New email!: Will speak "New email!"
New email for <user>!: Will speak "New email for bob!" (or whoever)


The example below shows a combination of two addins, the first one will archive all incoming emails and the second one will speak "Mail for " and the username.
