Office Mail Addins - Email forward

The Email forward Addin allows much more control than the standard Office Mail forwarding. Using the Addin rules you can forward emails to multiple recipients or only forward some emails depending on subject or who it is from.

The example below shows an example of dealing with emails while a user is out of the office. It will forward all incoming email for user wally to Wally's external email address (wally@aol.com) as well as to internal user bob.



The Forwarding addin requires one configuration setting - Mail From; You need to provide a valid email address so that your SMTP server will accept the forwarded email when it goes 'back out again'. Simply enter the email address of any of your users and the forwarded email will be sent okay. Note that this will not change the email itself, it will still come from the original sender.
